Supervision
I am a qualified supervisor, with a diploma in counselling supervision. I offer supervision to counsellors – both to trainees and to those who are trained and working in organisations or private practice. I also provide supervision to frontline workers in charities and to health professionals
I really enjoy supervision. I am an engaged, constructive and supportive supervisor. I work in an integrative way as a supervisor and my supervision training included attention to the professional and personal aspects of the therapist and the relationships between therapist and client, therapist and organisation, and beyond.
I provide external supervision to a range of organisations. I supervise frontline workers, caseworkers as well as counsellors both in organisations and in private practice.
I run reflective practice groups and supervision groups for actors and the arts sector and the charity sector.
My standard fee for supervision is £80 for 60 minutes. This rate is negotiable for charitable organisations. I also offer a concessionary rate to trainee counsellors on placements and to those setting up in private practice. I have previous experience of mentoring trainee counsellors in an agency setting and of supervision in a different role but with many overlapping features to counselling.
I offer group supervision and reflective practice in groups for organisations and do a lot of work around recognising and preventing burnout and secondary trauma. For more details, please get in contact. Group supervision rate is £100 for 60 minutes.
