I apply different aspects of my training and counselling experience depending on your needs. Taking a person-centred approach (which means I follow the pace and needs of the client) I listen closely and am non-judgemental. I offer support and understanding, in a non-critical way, and can help you to explore areas of your thinking and behaviour where you may be experiencing difficulty.

I am trained in CBT, EMDR, transactional analysis and coaching. I have regular and ongoing training to update my knowledge with the latest research and am currently learning about nutrition and holistic wellbeing for mental health including understanding more about the benefits sleep, rest and exercise.

I undertake long-term work as well as short-term, goal-oriented work. Both long and short term work often leads to those I see taking decisions and making useful changes to their lives.
